The Career Counselling and Placement Cell (CCPC) of Akhilabhagya Post Graduate College, Ranapar, Gorakhpur (Affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur) serves as a bridge between academic learning and professional success. The Cell is dedicated to guiding students in making informed career choices, enhancing their employability, and facilitating placement opportunities through continuous career development initiatives.

The Cell organizes career guidance programmes, placement drives, skill development workshops, internship support, entrepreneurship awareness programmes, and interactions with industry experts, higher education institutions, and government organizations. It aims to prepare students to meet the evolving demands of the employment market and higher education.

Functions of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell

The Cell shall:
• Provide career guidance and individual counselling to students.
• Organize campus placement drives, recruitment programmes, and job fairs.
• Conduct aptitude tests, resume-writing workshops, interview preparation sessions, and personality development programmes.
• Arrange industrial visits, internships, field exposure, and interactions with employers.
• Invite professionals, entrepreneurs, and alumni for career guidance sessions.
• Disseminate information regarding employment opportunities, internships, competitive examinations, and higher education programmes.
• Promote soft skills, digital literacy, communication skills, and workplace ethics.
