About the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell & Committee
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a flagship youth development programme of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, aimed at developing the personality and character of students through meaningful community service.
At Akhilabhagya Post Graduate College, Ranapar, Gorakhpur (Affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur), the NSS Unit provides students with opportunities to actively participate in community development, social awareness, environmental conservation, health initiatives, and nation-building activities. Through regular activities and special camps, NSS volunteers develop leadership qualities, social responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and a spirit of selfless service.
The motto of NSS, "Not Me, But You," reflects the philosophy of democratic living, social responsibility, and concern for the welfare of others.
